Hi Flyers Welcome aboard the good ship SR :grouphug: Congratulations on your five days sober :You_Rock_ Sleep will come, sleeplessness and disturbed sleep are things that a lot of newly sober people go experience When you get into the a natural sober sleep pattern it will be the best sleep you have ever had. The even better bit is waking up refreshed and guilt free Hang on in there - you are doing so well - be proud of yourself Keep posting and reading Best wishes to you |

Welcome Flyers! Congrats on your 5 days! Those first days can seem long (and strange), but hang in there. Things really will get better..... your sleep will come back (better than it ever was while drinking), your head will clear, and you'll feel more positive as you go. Glad you joined up - it's really hard to do this on our own, and the support here is great! |
Congratulations and welcome to SR! |
Good for you for watching some sports without drinking...I'm doing the same....My team's kicking butt and I'm enjoying it sober....Congrats on five days to you....Sleep will get better with time....Life will get better with time. What's your recovery plan flyers? |
Hey, flyers, congratulations on your decision to get sober. Sleep for me now is sound and restful, and no more snoring either. Blood pressure has dropped too. You can stay sober, too, flyers, we are here to support you. Keep posting, OK? |
welcome to SR flyers - good to have you here. Hopefully your sleep patterns will sort themselves out soon :) D |
:cheer Congratulations, keep working hard, study . live and act sobriety and you will be amazed. |
Welcome |
Whenever I would detox, I literally would be awake for 3 or 4 days. Amazing how alcohol withdrawal can do that to our brains...so unnatural. |
Welcome to SR, flyers. Insomnia has been one of my greatest challenges since I stopped drinking. Honestly, I suffered with insomnia long before I drank. Even so, I am happy to report that it gets better! Stay with us here and keep sharing. I've made a lot of friends here and I know that you will too. |
