Hello
Hello,
My name is Adam, i'm 20 years old and have been involved in taking drugs for 5 years and have been struggling with addiction for 3.
In the last 6 months or so i had quite a big relapse, got involved with the wrong guy and fell back into old patterns... although this was destructive it's taught me that i need to be pro-active in maintaining my sobriety or i can very easily be sucked back into a world that i'd very much like to put behind me.
I'm about to go to university and my family have really pulled together to help me do this (financially) and i worked hard to get my college completed to get this far. I have a family history of mental illness and drugs cause a major distortion of my view of reality.
I've come here to be part of a communuity of people sharing the same problem, no man is a mountain and all that.
I look forward to speaking to you

Hi Adam, my name is Mike and I'm glad you found this place. I can relate to that for sure & in my experiences it can get pretty scary. Thankfully just for today it doesnt have to be that way. Looking forward to getting to know you better.
