Things I've noticed on Day 21!
I found you guys on day 1 and now i'm all the way to day 21! I can't wait until day 30! The SR forum has played a huge role in me getting this far. Here are a few things I've noticed:
-- My hot flashes are gone. I'm in my early 30's and they would come and go like crazy. I'm a black female (light brown complexion) and I would get bright red. My checks stayed red almost always, folks would always ask if I was ok because I was blushing. After drinking, I would always get a weird feeling of heat being released from my body and become really flushed, and the redness always stayed.
--I've even noticed my hand look better. They are no longer, swollen, red, and wrinkled . I guess because they are now hydrated.
--The fog is being lifted. I'm not walking through life in a daze like state.
--The blotchy , flaky, skin is clearing
--Swollen belly going down
--I'm slow to irritate and anger again!
--I'm slowly loving life again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, TSWhite, on your first three weeks of sobriety. I experienced those things too, and many more improvements like sleeping for example. I started to fall asleep quickly, sleep soundly all night and wake feeling rested. The Resident Love Goddess told me around that time that my snoring and sleep apnea had all but disappeared, and this made a big difference I'm sure.
You will find that the benefits continue to roll in, including those feelings of pride in yourself, empowerment, and control over your life once again. Well done!

Hi tswhite, I'm moving into day 21 too and yes I've noticed the difference too. I definitely don't get all red, hot and bothered like I did. My puffy face has gone down, the bags under my eyes have disappeared and they're not red rimmed anymore, no palpitations and pounding heart during the night, no restless legs and hot feet, plus I've gone from being a total insomniac to sleeping for England!
Just think, if we look this much better after just 21 days, how stunning are we going to look when 30 days comes round. lol.

I'm counting down to 30 too! I forgot about the restless legs and major craps that caused me to scream like a mad women. August class?! Didint know about it. Off to search the forum to find it. Thanks!
