1,000 days sober today!!

I can't believe I'm one thousand days away from the sick mess I used to be. One thousand days away from waking up hating myself and feeling like hell. Well, no more of that!

I no longer want to drink. I'm happy with my sober life and wouldn't trade it for anything.

I used to think I was doomed to failure, over and over, but thanks to my counselor and the good people here I never gave up and my persistance paid off.

If I can do it, so can you!

Well, one 'tip' is from CarolD and she said: you have to want to be sober more than you want to drink. And it seems that all those times I failed I didn't really want to be sober. When I was finally ready to be sober, nothing could stop me.

Wow Least that is so amazing, you must be proud of yourself. Very well done. It is really good for someone like me, on day 16, to read a post like yours. It gives me hope and the belief that I really can and will do this.
