Thumbs up day 2 for me also

Yesterday was kinda tough but i stayed busy and went to my first AA meeting. It was a good experience. When i got home i was feeling so good i wanted to celebrate by getting high again. I did not give in and i feel much better today. I still want to fast forward to a better time for me though. Im now sober realizing my financial situation is grim as well as my 11 yr relationship im in. I plan on going back tonight.

Yay for Day 2!

And, yeah, it's really tough at the beginning of recovery looking at all the messes we have to deal with. Just take things slowly and try to work on something every day, so you feel like you're making some progress.

I was a drinker and smoker myself, socal...imagine how fast the money will pile up when you're not using! I'm counting on it! Hang in there!

Excellent. Listen to what the oldtimers say and keep coming until what you heard makes sense.

All the best.
