I have done the same job for 20 years (different locations) and a mum for 10 years...why was so easy to do them when I was SOBER ?

I dunno - a lot of things seemed harder for me sober in the beginning LSC - when you're using alcohol as your universal crutch for everything and you take it away, things will be a bit wobbly for while

but things levelled out and got easier pretty quickly, I found?

I'd give it a little more time LSC - 2 and a bit weeks is great, but if you're anything like the drinker I was, you'll still be recovering from years of abuse to mind and body.

I just have zip motivation at work..which is really unusual for me....managed to get through the evening without snapping at the kids and making them cry...and I couldn't get SR which made me even more irritable..all good now

I'm going thru this!!! I think that before, I was drowning out my stress and feelings about work with booze. Now that it's gone, my job is really HARD. I'm trying to hang in there, keep pushing thru. It's tough!!
