I'm creating a heathy, happy, sober future, because I'm on the downhill side of my career in the fire service after 20 years. I want to lose weight, lower my cholesterol and blood pressure, and sleep more sound, and be sharp at work at work and at home. I don't want to be unhealthy and addicted into my 40s.

I will turn 40 in November. In less than 5 years, I can retire with pension. My goal is to move south, near the Alabama Gulf Coast within 10 years.

I've got work to do to make that happen. It's easier if I'm not drinking.
