I have had an awesome couple of days. I had a job interview yesterday that went great. They want to talk again Monday! It's in a reputable firm downtown. I'm so excited. They also seemed cool with part time to start, which I wanted. Also, I was upfront and told them about the OUI and they were fine with it! Then, my husband found out he may be changing positions at work, and will have better hours and more money. Lastly, my primary care called me today to tell me ALL my blood work (liver enzymes, blood cell counts, thyroid, iron) came back normal! They were all a mess when I was drinking. I'm so happy to be sober and have things going in a positive direction Thanks for reading!

Thats awsome Bjames!!! I've started noticing that too! I had been applying for jobs for months with no calls. Once I stopped drinking, I got 3 offers in one day! Isn't it amazing how things work out? And we're actually sober to enjoy these gifts that life is offering us!

That's GREAT bjames! Happy for you! I can hear the excitement in you msg. Very nice to hear of the good things that can come with being sober. I'm still working on it, but this helps in keeping my head up!
