8 Months Sober Today!

Another one bites the dust! I attended a meeting last night and the topic was working with others, which I am so grateful and thankful to be able to do today. I can honestly say that my obsession has been lifted and that I have had (several) spiritual awakenings as a result of the 12 steps.

I wanna say thanks to all my friends here at SR for sticking with me from day 1, and for sharing your experience strength and hope, because it was reading those items that helped me to stay strong myself.

I hope a newcomer will read this today and that it will give them hope and courage to keep fighting this disease.

I love seeing your milestones!!! I feel you are a kindred spirit. We quit around the same time, and I know you've gone thru all the same stuff I have, and am currently going thru. I'm so happy to see a sister right there alongside me. You've done so well, and I really appreciate all the kind advice you've given me. YAY!!
