What I did yesterday evening instead of getting drunk...
 

When I got home after work I scrubbed the bathroom clean, unpacked two moving boxes, put away the clean dishes and made dinner. I would love to hear what everyone else did to keep yourself busy and out of the liquor cabinet. :-)

I do 5 things every day...

I get on my knees in the morning and ask The God of my understanding to guide my thinking for the day.
I read some AA literature.
I talk to another alcoholic.
I go to a meeting or check in on a website and try and carry the message to another sick and suffering alcoholic.
I get on my knees and thank the God of my understanding at night for another wonderful sober day.

It's pretty simple...But I haven't had to have drink since I started doing it.

I played with the kitties
I ate dinner
I hung out on SR
Talked with a friend
Cleaned up after the kitties......
Went to bed.

walked the dog...
watched tele
browsed the internet
phoned mum and dad
