A little prayer
To the Powers that Be:
Thank You for this day! Thank You for the strength to make it this far. Living Alcohol free is not a easy task. I am grateful and i am blessed. Help me today to remain emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally sober. For the last 2 days my head has been in a fog. Ive been rather drunk off emotions and its taking its toll. I need to remain calm with one foot in front of the other. I need to stay centered and be who I truly am in this world. Thanks for the guidance.
With love and respect.

(((((Mizzuno)))) from someone named after something sweet (although she's not always so) AWESOME PRAYER...
A few days ago I had a really bad night and the next morning I had an emotional hangover.
With the serenity prayer, this acceptance statement always helps me:
"And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing, or situation-some fact of my life -unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing, or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in God's world by mistake."
In my situation I had to put my feet in my daughters shoes and consider her feelings and I had to make a quick amends to her for my part in the matter. And had to learn to keep my mouth shut-even if I want to GOOO OFF! Oh well.. That's just me...
Have a great day!
