30 Days of Sobriety
It seems a bit anti-climactic now that it's here, but I have been looking forward to this milestone since I made the decision not to drink anymore.
All of these things are better than they were before:
+My energy, my stamina and desire to work out, to get physically stronger
+My skin, especially the area around the nose, which used to display chronic stress- and alcohol-induced rosacea
+Less guilt and anxiety, most of which used to be brought on by my double life
+Higher self-esteem, more assurance that I can meet the challenges of the day
+Most importantly, my relationship with my wife
Thanks to everyone here for your ongoing support. Here's looking toward 30 more days of my new sober lifestyle!

That is great, BlueShades. A month is a big milestone.
I like your list of 'betters'. If it helps you, there are many more that can be listed. More money in your pocket, less snoring and apnea, lower cholesteral and bp, happy liver, better diet, less depression, more motivation, more peace, more appreciation of joys and beauty. In some ways I feel that sobriety is its own reward - it is condition free.
Anyway, GoodOnYa.
