Hi,

Today I was 7 days sober again. I now have 350ml bottle of Vodka that I have managed to Conn from my hubby. It sounds good but while he was out I topped the bottle up.And I am on my 4th joint.

Not good and I am sure I am gonna be gutted in the morning. What is wrong with me?

I stupidly thought staying sober would be (excuse the language) 'a piece of ****!'

We *ALL* had missteps. We *ALL* relapse. I don't think you'll find a single person here whose achieved their sobriety without a few bumps in the road!

You're not a bitch,you simply weren't prepared for the guerilla warfare that alcohol uses to get you to drink it.

The drink needs you, not the other way around - it's a tricky little parasite but you can outsmart it and get sober and clean.

I have been ending up with the same frustration at myself too lately but there are loads of people here for whom it's all in the past now.

They did it and so can you! You will be fine.

"Pull yourself together man!!!" ;-) Do whatever you need to do to dust yourself off and get on track. You had a slip- but you can do this. You're not a beeotch... Try to reel it in!!
