First day
This is the first day that I have actively decided to become sober. I wasn't a daily drinker, but I tend to get too drunk a few times a week. I have had stomach problems for a few months that I think may be caused by over-use of alcohol. I think my last drunken spectacle, which occurred on Sunday, August 12, may have ruined the best relationship I have ever been in. I am here to become a better person, and to become a better person I must leave alcohol behind. I know it is going to be hard, but I think I am committed. I am here for help and encouragement.
