I HATE sharing. My sponsor says I dont have to if not comfortable. She suggested it would be helpful for me to share if there is newbies in the room. As Im only 10 months sober and still struggling hugely with living this new life full of emotions and feelings, she thinks my experiences will help them feel at ease rather than just hearing from "old timers" who seem so together and serene. I avoid it all the time and dont make eye contact with whoever is running the meeting lol. Every now and then I'll share and it lasts all of about a minute.

I will let you know how things go. I feel another shift in the weight I have been carrying. I still have alot of work to do but I am glad the change is happening.

My sponsor said to go to smaller meetings and try not to get anxious over it. Once I put my foot in the pool I will jump in.
