Today is the first day without pain pills. So far not facing any withdrawals. Have been on them about 4 weeks. Hope that I don't have to go through the withdrawals I went through in April. Just have to tell myself how wonderful it felt being clean before I broke my wrist so badly. Hopefully haven't been on them long enough to have to suffer all the effects I did before.

Does your doctor know your concerns Chrisy? Are you getting any other support too? I hope it is not difficult for you x

Have you tried any herbal remedies for your wrist pain? Like Biofreeze or Tiger balm? x

So far so good, as there are no withdrawals and the pain hasn't been to bad.

I am glad that I am being cut off as I am afraid that I would have become dependent and addicted to them again.

I am using ice packs. Will look into the things you mentioned.
