Newbie

Hello I am Ronda I used for 21 years, lost my 5 kids and still could not get clean and sober. But 5 years ago I was living on the streets of Las Vegas with my boyfriend (now he is my husband) at the time doing all the wrong things. Then one I could not find him and he was the one that made sure we had a place to stay at night and when I could not find him I was scared to death. come to find out he was in jail and so I found a treatment centre so I could have a clean and sober baby. and after she was born her and I moved back to a sober living home that I had been in before in Kingman, Az. I thank God every day for the courage to have the 5 years I have right. I take one day at a time.

Welcome Ronda! I'm glad you found a safe place for you and your baby. Sounds like you've had some hard times but are on your way to better ones.5 years clean is really impressive!

Thank you, since I left Kingman I have tried other groups but can't find one that makes me feel comfortable at so. this look like I can come here when I need too.

Sometimes being uncomfortable is what we need. ;) Maybe someone at one of those groups needed you more than you needed them....you could help someone else get to 5 years of sobriety!

Welcome to SR! Glad you are here!
