The EXTREME urge to drink.
Good evening Dominica,
I know it can be really hard sometimes, but the best bet is to break your normal routine. Right now your mind is focused on something you don't want to give into. In my troubled days when that happened I would try to find someone healthy to hang out to take my mind off of it. Whether it be a friend, family member, neighbor anyone. If that is not an option right now go for a walk. Nature walk if you can, it is a proven fact that humans placed in the wilderness in our "natural" habitat releases stress and puts our mind at ease. The options are endless, but if doubtful of being able to do this on your own please call the help line. I am hopeful for you and we know you can do this!

You did not cave - how exciting! Believe me, I had the same urge all day today because I am still having intense anxiety over my recent breakup. I wanted to have a few drinks but didn't. Yay for us!
