Day 9 has come and gone
Hi everyone,
Instead of drinking after work, I went to the gym and then came home and made myself a smoothie. I passed by several bars and wasn't even tempted. I am enjoying the freedom from this habitual urge to dip into the wine all the time. Yay!

congrats, Ziggy! i remember a day in my early recovery where i went to the grocery store to pick up some food and actually forgot about the alcohol section. isn't it great to feel those old habits start to slip away? those feelings of relief and freedom will keep coming. and to think, all that on Day 9! you have so much more to look forward to. i look forward to hearing even more. thanks for an inspiring post in the evening.
