Just look away..
Just look away..
I slept over my Dad's last night and this morning I asked my step-mother if there is a toothbrush I could use. She opened up the medicine cabinet(I didn't know where it was located until now) and got me a toothbrush.
I was brushing my teeth and my disease was telling me to open the medicine cabinet back up and see if there were any goodies in there. Thankfully I got through it with ease!
I don't have any desire to look right now and I'm going to AA in an hour, hopefully I don't get the urge again!

Being able to identify the addictive voice (AV) Jake is key.
It will rear it's ugly head anytime...as it did with the simple exchange of a toothbrush.
You'll get better at telling the AV to **** off...exercising the sober muscle only makes you stronger.
Good job and great that you're off to a meeting.
