I did the same things you're doing - over a period of many years. I was in my 50's before I got serious about reclaiming my life. Very bad things happened, & every time I picked up the outcome was dangerous & unpredictable. In the end I was drinking 24/7 - even at work. I simply lived to suck down that booze. I know that won't be you, Duck - you can do this thing and have a new life.
