Can I make it?
Oh Thankyou all so very much. You have no idea how much you all help me. I'm feeling a bit more positive now, had a good day at work and know I'm going to win this battle tonight xxx
Jeni, 'lasting just a little longer' means that something, right around the corner maybe, can happen that will make you change your mind and start believing that the Voice is you. Ahaa! Trickery trickery trickery! This idea in itself is the Voice again, still trying to maneuver you into changing your mind, if not today, then sometime soon.
That Voice is attached to a loser, not you, because you don't drink. I know you will have a great sober weekend. Best to you.

Thankyou all from the bottom of my heart. I've just got back from an AA meeting, it was an excellent one.
I'm heading to bed soon. When I wake up, I will be sober and on day 50!!
Never in a million years did I think I could stop drinking for so long.
It is thanks to you all that I've made it tonight. Tomorrow is a new day, and I'm looking forward to it xxx

Jeni, you have offered thanks for what you have accomplished by your own self empowerment and strength of will, when the results were achieved and owned completely by you. That is very gracious and generous of you.
You might not yet be mindful of the impact your posts are most certainly having on new SR members and those not yet registered here. The contribution you are making to their new sobriety is hard to measure, but I will say that you are saving a life or two from the misery that we know and remember too well.
Please stay around here, Jeni, and keep us up to date on your journey and joy. Best to you.
