Hi There
Hello all,
My name is JD, and I am new to the forum. My sobriety date is 11/1/10, and as such, this will be the last time I refer to myself as a newcomer :P
I live in AZ and I help run a local non profit that helps homeless addicts rebuild their lives... If they WANT the help, that is. (Hope that didn't sound like an advert...)
Recovery is pretty much my whole life, but apparently I need more cause I joined this forum. I look forward to meeting everyone and I hope I'm able to contribute something productive.

Welcome JD! Congratulations on your sober time.
What an important & meaningful job you have. Also, a constant reminder of what can happen if our disease remains untreated. I hope you'll enjoy being here - this is a wonderful place that helped this 24/7 drinker get her life back. We're glad you joined.
