Grrrrr

I'm such a loser!

Anna 07-08-2012 05:47 PM

What's up, Fancy?

FancyFace 07-08-2012 05:49 PM

I'm struggling! Bad!

Taking5 07-08-2012 05:51 PM

What's up FF? We're here for you.

Anna 07-08-2012 06:03 PM

You're not a loser for struggling. Most of us have struggled. :)

boh347 07-08-2012 06:10 PM

Don't even spend one second thinking you're a loser..... That's just a part of the whole awful syndrome. You had a bunch of days sober and you're here talking to us - Those are huge positives....

What's your AV telling you? Sometimes it helps to know what's behind that urge to drink. Sending hugs your way - let us know if we can help.:ghug3

I'm a loser too. I lost the desire to waste away as a drunk. It took a lot of work and pain and every day a false start waiting to get a "Round Tuit" and feeling bad unitil I finally got it by losing it.

Boy do we all know how feeling like a loser feels. If you don't want totalk about it realize we are keeping you company as long as you need.

Struggling is a requirement for winners, by definition. Early trials are all part of the job description. Don't give up—you'll see. :)

Hi Fancy Face. You are not a loser... unfortunately we all feel rueful and beat ourselves up sometimes. Give yourself a break and move on. Let the past go and quit playing "what if". There are brighter days ahead for you and we are here for your support. Take care.

pauladmits 07-08-2012 06:47 PM

FancyFace!! This is the perfect place to come and let us know what is making you feel like a loser. No one is going to judge because we have all slipped up and all felt like "losers", some of us have done it hundreds of times... so we know exactly what it feels like!! Don't take it too hard, as long as you keep trying and fighting the fight you will be a winner!

DisplacedGRITS 07-08-2012 06:58 PM

You're not a loser, you're human. Anyways, it's from the struggling that we grow. If we didn't struggle with this addictkon, none of us would be here. The fact that you're struggling means your trying so it's a good thing, see?

Hevyn 07-08-2012 07:03 PM

Losers don't keep trying. You posted - you are still in the game. Never give up, never.

I’m a loser as well, F.F.

AA gives me a daily reprieve from my loserism so I can lead a normal life.

All the best.

We are here, and yes we all struggle, and felt like losers. :)

Dee74 07-08-2012 08:07 PM

Everyone struggles FF - it's hard to change our lives...but you're not alone. We all understand you and your struggle. :)

Personally I really think we're all winners here :)
