Achieved my Goal

Well today I set myself a small goal - wasn't small for me but might sound small - I wanted to leave my bartending job right after my shift, do not have my free staff drink, and do errands and go home...I did it! Happily writing this post from my place.

That's great. I work in a bar also and a lot of times the staff will hang out and drink together after work, which I would do pretty often also. Over the weekend I managed to leave right after both of my night shifts, even though people were asking me to stay. I like hanging out, but just wasn't ready to sit and not drink. One person said they would miss me if I didn't join and I told him that sometimes it is good to miss people. It felt pretty good to be able to pass up the multiple offers to stay and drink. Hope we can both keep this up!
