I hope things turned out ok but none of us have anyway of knowing that.

I ended up here through a google search of iron deficiency, and ended up reading every post in this thread. It was really sad to see how it developed. I was routing for him throughout the whole experience and was really sad to see his last post. I hope everything worked out okay for him.
