So
I am sitting here in bed on my own, after a horrible day.
I cannot even cry.
Today we were invited for dinner at a neighbours.
My other half drank too much, had to be virtually dragged home after really out staying his welcome, as usual.
When we got home he proceeded to be drunk, aggressive and slammed the TV numerous times as there was not reception and he could not watch the game. I asked him to stop being aggressive and he let rip a tirade of abuse. How I had no friends (my friends that we went to dinner with.....) I never went out, I was this I was that.
I cannot bear aggressive drunken men.
I went up stairs to get away.
I felt tearful and sad, but most of all defeated.
I've brought this on myself.
Whenever I ask, what did I do to deserve this, I know the answer and it's my fault.
I'm going to go now, going to try to sleep.
BUT I STILL HAVE 131 DAY TODAY!!

I'm sorry to hear that,
Are you based in the UK? I take it you mean the England game if you are? I was going to attempt going to the pub with my mates but decided against it thank god,
Is your partner violent or "just" abusive when in drink?
It appears that he is the one with the problem and well done on your 131 days, you should be proud about your achievements and not low. You don't need to be with somebody who abuse's you like that. He should be proud of you too.
I hope all goes well for you, I'm a part time police officer and see things like this all of the time and it makes me sick. If he's still in the house drinking and starts beckoning you again please please dial 999 and the police will come and remove him just as he seserves.
Take care,
Bruno.

I don't see how you're to blame either Sasha.
If memory serves you're in the UK - you may not feel it applies but I offer this link anyway

Congratulations on your sober time, Sasha. I'm glad you're not drinking so you can be clearheaded to deal with this situation. No one deserves to live in fear, doubt, and confusion. I hope you'll continue to post - we care about you.
