Had One Of Those Cravy Night Knocks on The Sober Door

When I think I'm over a relationship, it can come a knocking. Opened the door saw who it was but wouldn't let it in to sweet talk me. Funny, still guilt like I let another relationship down but I knew it wasn't my failure this time. Closed the door, poured some iced tea and put a rodeo movie on. Booze is only as powerful as the power I give it. Funny, as soon as I said go away, I'm busy it left. It has been said that when the Buddha was awakening all the devels came to tempt and take. He put his hand to the ground to say this is my life and they scattered. I felt like that, not awakened but aware. The tea truely taste fine, not a substitute, an alternative,. Not a sip of vodka in several months. May change my address.

Funny thing, changing your address will only result in another knock. You can run, but you can't hide. It is just like a Stephen King novel or an episode of The Twilight Zone. Where ever you go...it will find you. Next time you hear the knock, slam the door and poor another tea. I'm with ya, I love my tea. Yep, don't give it any power and let it pass you by...

I was a green tea addict LONG before I gave up drinking. I'm pretty sure I've bought some Starbucks executive a beach house or two.

I know the feeling well, Fritz. Couldn't have said it better myself.
