Re-Boot

After the longest period of sobriety in decades (6 days) I succumbed and drank last night. fortunately stopped at only 8 beers. my question is (and I know it is different for everyone) should I expect the same horrible withdrawal/detox? Thoughts? Thank you.

Detoxing is always unpredictable, which is why it's always best to be cautious and talk to your dr.

I'm glad you're back. :)

I only drank (binged) on the weekends, so when I stopped, I didn't have any detox problems, but everyone is different. You should probably see a doc if you are concerned.

It's different for everyone. Since you were only 6 days off the drink before you may not have even been fully detoxed from your last binge. Be careful.

Like others have said - best to see your Dr. if you're concerned.
