Hi. My name is Tammy in real life. I am 4 1/2 months pregnant with my first baby. My boyfriend/fiance is a heroin addict. I did not know he was using until after I was pregnant. I ust found out last week he has been still using since he told me he stopped. Anyhow, he is 9 days clean now. Thank God for someone giving him subs. I am here just for support and to not feel so alone and ashamed. And to learn as well. We are trying to.get to NA meetings and we have moved so.he knows no one here so for right now that is good however drugs are not hard to find.

I'm glad your boyfriend is trying to do something about his addiction, and you're very wise to get information and support for yourself. Addiction isn't easy to deal with and it affects everyone around us.

thats fantastic that hes getting help. some men choose drugs over their loved ones which happened to me (had a baby to a man that walked away when i was 5 weeks pregnant because he didnt want to stop drugs and havnt seen him since and its been 9 years) so the fact that your boyfriend is cleaning up shows he wants to keep his family and your a star for supporting him, take care hope all goes well.

We got him into AA and I am trying to get to Alanon/Nar-anon.
