Day 1 again
 

Day 1 completed. just starting day 2.

My partner had a birthday party on Saturday and I got talked into having just that 1 bottle of Heineken by her brother. I was a lovely day and everyone was in a good mood so I thought sure, why not. What is 1 bottle going to hurt. That was 1pm. Next thing I knew, it was 2am and I was waking up on the sofa in a very poor state. Everyone has gone and it was just me and an empty bottle.

When I checked in the fridge later in the morning after popping a couple of paracetamol, it turned out I had 21 of them.

I've been here before I thought. Anyway, I've picked up the book and will go to a meeting tonight.

Hey spike, I've been there man. recently had 90 days, went to a party with the wife, had *one* glass of champagne, and wound up on a ten day bender. Totally baffling to me unless I accept the fact that I am an alcoholic, which I now realize beyond any shadow of a doubt that I am.
