What did you do today, to stay sober today?
 

A question I like to toss at people from time to time just to shake things up. So, what did you do?

Went to yoga class by the lake.

Well, my day is just getting started, lol. But as I did yesterday, I'll start my day with prayer and meditation, a healthy breakfast and some reading in the Big Book. Then I'll go to my noon meeting, do a little of the homework my sponsor gave me, and then we'll see what the rest of the day brings. :)

Prayer and Meditation....A little reading....Just got back from a good meeting....Put's my head in a good place to not drink today. What do you know?....It's the same thing I did yesterday.

Building dreams

Day 1 here. Joined SR. Sitting with the cravings and anxiety, accepting them and waiting it out.

Picked up the phone and called another alkie.

"Reach out and touch someone" as the old saying used to be.....
and now it's get out of yer ole self

Maybe it seems too simple, but I don't have the first drink.
