Hello everyone. I am new here and just wanted to say hi to all of us in recovery. I was at a meeting last night and heard of this place and had to check it out. It's funny they say you will get what you need out of a meeting, and I did when I found this place. I am coming up on 2 years in Aug. Not bad for a 40 year drinker. So I guess you can teach a old dog new tricks. When I first started this recovery I hated the number 24. See I am into NASCAR and i don't care for that care. It was like 3 months before I figured out that I only don't have to drink for this 24 hours. (dah) For anyone new this program does work.

Welcome, glad you found SR. I think its a great site and real help to me. Wonderful on your two years. Look foward to your posts. I think I work on sobriety 24 seconds at a time.
