So - I made a vow to myself that I was DONE drinking. YAY! I'm down 2 days and SO happy for myself, should i be this excited?!
I find myself sitting here at work thinking about how much i would LOVE to go home and get sh*t faced while packing for my vacation in 2 days. Just drink and pack - it would be wonderful. Then i snap out of my alcoholic delusion and realize that I will be so resentful and upset with myself if i let that happen.
I. Will. Stay. Sober!!!

No drink tastes as good as sober feels, right?!

Yay! Actually 2 days is awesome. I was a lot like you, I thought I loved to pack and drink. And now I have no idea why. I'd always forget important stuff. I never really made progress packing. And then the next morning I was totally hungover, couldn't get up early to finish packing, and ultimately made us run for the plane. You can do this. Good luck!!

Absolutly you should be excited. GREAT JOB !!

Just concentrate on making it through 1 day at a time and I urge you to not just make a vow to yourself, but get out to A.A. It's really tough to do it on your own

Congratulations. Day two was rough for me. I'm on day 6 and I am feeling great. It gets easier to tell yourself no as the week progresses.
