Since your are in Los Angeles, there is a really great Men's Recovery House in the Valley called Cabrito House. I am familiar with it as it has been in existence for 35+ years and I went through Odyssey House for Women, also in the valley. Many a man has gone through Cabrito and is still living sober today:
