New friends

It's been a while since I had a friend. I am starting to notice some people actually like being around me. I am making new friends at work. No one knows about my drinking problem. I have always been to myself at work and never gave anyone a chance to get to know me. Funny how it makes me feel like a normal human being. Things are really starting to turn around.

Great progress Soberred.

I know the feeling, put-down the drink, pick-up living the good life.

I've lived in this area for years without friendships and am starting break out too. I guess addiction can be quite an isolating illness. My best to you. Today a neighbor I've barely spoken too brought me home baked bread, so there are definate perks to sobriety.
