a lotta sadness tonight

so...just got back from a meeting which was really intense. i haven't been to one like it so far. i'm not sure what hit us all, but some really painful stuff came up for most everyone.
so i'm just sending out good thoughts to all of us.
not always the easiest, this alcoholism.
though day by day it's better.
xoxo

A painful as it is Changer, it really is part of the healing process. Might not feel like it at the time or at the moment.

Big hugs

I find much comfort in the serenity Prayer...

Yes some sober days are more difficult than others ..
hold on and keep moving forward...

Your doing great changer, keep it up, one day at a time. Early sobriety was like someone opening the flood gates, I was on a roller coaster of emotions but it gets better. I'm still new and still find my feelings all over the place sometimes but now have more coping skills and the assurance of better days ahead. I'm also building a support network.

Nope, that's for sure. But it has its benefits. There's a lot of pain to be found in recovery circles, also a lot of kindness and compassion. Sounds like you found a good group. Hang in there, because it's well worth it.
