good day?
Hey everyone im loving this site it really helps me out. I'm just wanting to say im glad im sober on such a great day and not makin an ass of myself somewhere. I'm thinking more clearly, taking time with myself not beating myself up as much and not chasing the buzz. IV only had two weeks but last year managed a few months but wheels came off. I'm starting to feel this clarity again in feel in heading in a good direction again. I have no desire to drink and im feeling good for it.
Happy Saturday and fresh Sunday morning to you all.
Ps wat is this pink cloud I've been hearing about ?
Cheers!

Chasing the buzz sucks don't it?! It's why I never got into hard drugs... never had easy access. Alcohol on the other hand... readily available! Still though chasing the buzz just got too damn frustrating and painful. So I'm with you today... sober and clear... by the grace of god. Take care friend.
Any day that I'm sober and not making an ass out of myself is a good day.
The "pink cloud" is that euphoria that often happens during early sobriety, when you're feeling better physically and emotionally. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Congrats on your two weeks!

Hi Miko! It's good to see you're doing well and enjoying your new way of life. I was just thinking this morning how in past years this weekend would be a blur, from start to finish. Then to have to go back to work, hungover and not remembering a thing. I'm so glad we don't do that anymore!
The pink cloud is something I never experienced. Not sure how common it is, but I've heard of it.
