i nearly cried buying milk today...
So today i'm at the grocery store and i go to buy milk. I notice some of the milk has an expiration date of June 6. I look around and to my delight, i find a carton with an expiration of June 5. I nearly break down in tears in the dairy department. Why you ask? June 5 is my 90 Days. My 90 days is now within the expiration of a highly perishable food item. I grab the June 5 milk and go to the check out, grateful for the self check out terminals so no one can see the joyful tears brimming in my eyes.

And that's my exciting grocery trip story of the day.

That brought a lump to my throat too because I can totally appreciate the significance. I'm already looking forward to June 7th which will be my 2 month sober date and just know in my heart that Im going to make it.

That's called wanting sobriety....To get that kind of reaction from something you are working towards....You weren't in the beer aisle crying because you couldn't have one...I think wanting sobriety with passion like that is what makes it work...I know it did for me. You're doing great Grits....Just don't drink today.
