Tomortow will be my last day on stimulants
It will be my 100th, at least , last day. I can quit but staying quit had been impossible for over two years now in spite of my absulute best efforts. I can say "no" 99 times but that hundret+ timr and just one "yes" wiped out all the no's. How can I make this time different?
Instead of saying "yes" to stimulants, say "yes" to life.
Sobriety is about saying "YES!" to life, not about focusing on the things we are worrying about saying "no" to.
When I realize that my real struggle was not with the substances I abused, but was with the way I address life, I stop struggling with the substances and move on towards addressing (not struggling with) my life.
I used to run to drugs because I was scared. Now I know they are scarier than life and the situations I was hiding from. I choose life.

The nature of the beast for me was that tomorrow never seemed to come...have you visited our brothers and sisters in the 12 step movement? Cocaine Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Crystal Meth Anonymous...They helped me tremendously with that staying stopped part, what a bear it always seemed...my hamster loved to hop back on the wheel.
