I have a much better understanding of who I am so I would have to say I have an improved relationship with myself. I also feel closer to my HP so that relationship has improved as well.
Both of these things has also caused me to more present and in the moment with the people in my life and the people I encounter throughout my day. I am able to be myself (and be okay with it) for what feels like the first time since I was young (before I drank).

Today my sister asked if she could stay at my house twice a week because she got a job near me and an hour from her home. I said yes.
I am nervous. But I know if I was drinking I would've said no
and also that if I was still drinking she would not have even felt safe to ask.

Today sobriety has improved my relationship with my father.
I am a better listener, am less judgemental and feel much less nervous around him now that I don't drink
and that really improves the quality of our time together.
