Today my sobriety improved my relationship with an old buddy (who still drinks). because he is setting up a day for us to have lunch and go to museum together during daytime and not go to a bar.

Today, my sobriety has improved my Future relationship with my extended family, as I did not drink at a family gathering. I was quiet and tongue tied, but, first things first.

Today my sobriety improves my relationship with coworkers, as I continue to take more of a genuine interest in those around me, even people I never really noticed before....
Clean again after 3 long years

With my son. He's only 15 months old and I'm only [about to be in 8 minutes...] 9 days sober, but I'm determined, and I can tell our connection is already improving. God bless...

Today my sobriety improved my relationship with my coworkers as under extreme stress I was able to pause and set boundaries and breath and make clear decisions. I did.not get sarcastic, or sullen, or catty, and I did not fantasize about drinking. As a, result some coworkers came and helped me and others made a point of encouraging me and I was able to thank them.

Today my sobriety improved my relationship with my dog. I took him with me tonight to a park for an outdoor concert. If not sober I wouldve been home alone drinking and yelling at the dog.

Today my sobriety has improved my relationship with my former husband (and his wife). My (our) grandson's first birthday party was today.
...Not drinking makes me less depressed. And, once I quit drinking I was eventually able to meditate daily. Which helps me stay in the present and see things as they really are. Like today, it really paid off. I actually left feeling good!

Today, my sobriety has improved my relationship with someone new. I told them I don't drink. So the relationship starts honestly.
This is good because I have been terrified that either sobriety will get me rejected, or, that I will drink to fit in. I am trying to prove to myself that neither fear need be true.

My boyfriend- because he can be away at his family reunion without having to worry about me drinking at home alone!
My family- I attended my nephew's bday, enjoyed myself and didn't spend time looking for or drinking alcohol/not having family time!
