New to SR, 7 Months Clean!

Just came across SR forums, thought I'd join up and get my hand up. I'm Paul and I'm a recovering heroin addict. About to have 7 months clean and sober, pretty excited. Grateful that sites like this exist.

I tried to take my own life and God intervened. Wound up in a crisis center (homeless shelter for addicts) and went to rehab. Got a sponsor, started the steps, and I feel amazingly liberated for once in my life. Such an exciting journey so far.
