I was feeling really bored on Friday and really needed to let loose. I went out with a friend to a strip club and a bar and only had club soda and lime. Feeling good about it and didn't have the desired to drink. Only spend about $35 and that's also going to a strip club.

stripclubs stone sober kinda suck.....imo. I needed to be half in the bag to believe the girls were actually there "for me." lol. Sober, I knew better and never really had that much fun. Haven't been back
in years......

At only 36 days sober when you did this, I would say you are 'pushing the
envelope' a bit. Based on your recent record these past 6 months or so,
it would definitely be in your best interests to avoid these type of 'fun'
things until you are more secure in your continued abstinence.

I believe you are not using AA which is a good alternative to 'being bored,'
but I would suggest more sober activities, and more reading and practicing
of what AVRT and/or SMART suggest, and finding more sober activities to
engage in.
