I'm back!
I'm 6 months sober on 5/20/12.
I feel better and better everyday. My life is coming together again, some things were fast and others are slow.
I've discovered I am an egotistical, insecure, sometimes a$$hole without booze, but working on that one day at a time. (I'm sure I was with the booze too...) Thank God for AA, and I started the steps with my sponser. I have slimmed down, waaay down and don't have that strung out look anymore, lol.
I went into rehab last May. Some of the friends I made there are either dead now, in jail now, or back on the streets/in and out of treatment facilities now. This alcoholism thing is NO JOKE.
Prayers for all of you still drinking and suffering. This really is a better way of life.
