I got swallowed whole yesterday.

Have therapy tonight.

I have a meeting tomorrow at 8. It is a gay only meeting. Never been but figured maybe I can find a sponsor.

Saturday i am going to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge with some friends. Always wanted to do that.

Sunday there is a beginner meeting at 1.

Reading SR all day today. So many inspire me.

I offer no excuses for drinking yesterday. Only solutions for today.

That's my plan.

Re the sponsor deal, make sure you ask whatever HP you may or may not believe in for some open mindedness, some open eyes and ears, and to put that person in your path.

The first person to take me through the work was a woman.... NOT what I wanted. My next sponsor I picked, he wasn't a great choice long term but perfect at the time. My second sponsor I may have been a little quick in selecting and isn't perfect either but he's been valuable to me.

I guess what I'm getting at is, in a sponsor, you should be looking for someone who's been through the work and is able to teach it to you. Since those will be difficult for you to distinguish right away...it's good to get some help from above.
