Yep, anxiety has tainted my days too. Waking up the next day and feeling very fidgety, on edge, feelings of genuine fear for no particular reason, heart palpitations etc... I would usually drink through it at the weekend, but I can assure you that it is so much better to drop the alcohol and do something about it good luck pal.

Massive anxiety was pretty much my only horrible hangover feeling, but it was awful. When I stopped drinking, the anxiety stopped.

Wishing you well. You can dramatically diminish these feelings. You know what to do.

I too suffer from MASSIVE anxiety after drinking and then quitting, again.

Just as bad as the anxiety, seemingly in the beginning, was the extremely manic/joyous feeling I would usually get by about the 5th or 6th day. This complete switch in mood led to many many relapses for me.
