I'm free to drive any where, any time without worrying about getting a DUI.

I'm free from the alcohol induced good/bad high/hungover loop. I give thanks every morning.

Free from fear of the morning coming when I'd have to find out what I'd said or done or had not done that I should have.

Free to put my drinking past behind me and move forward.

I have been so blind its untrue and I have been lucky enough to have a massive wake up call and stop before it is too late.

Congratulations for your son and you!!!....I was just going to say something similar. I am getting ready to go for my first outdoor run in like, oh...5 yrs. Normally I would be saying, tomorrow, when Im not hung over, I will start running. Of course I never did.

Take the dog out and not rush him through his routine, cause the only thing I have to get back to is my husband, not the "one more of the last one.". :ghug3

Roosta, that is so crazy, as I just came from taking dog out, and had the exact thought about not having to rush him because I was free of.my.alcohol.obsession. He is such a faithful little guy...

Instead of dragging myself out of bed and dreading the work day, no doubt arriving late ...today I was free to wake up on time and sit on my deck for a few minutes, hearing the birds chirping away at 6:00 am before heading to the office.
