Thanks Threshold, kinda the situation I am facing at the moment. Not a lack of desire, just lack of opportunity. They don't have to be in your area for you to call and just talk to them. Ive spoken to people in other states and even other countries :) also attend online meetings, it helps. |
We create opportunities. What lengths are you willing to go to for sobriety and recovery? AVRT is an option. AA is all over your state. Pick one program and work it like your life depended upon it. Glad you are here! |
You love that list don't you Carol? Its good though just poking fun, but seriously number 140??? That one still catches my eye as odd and I consider myself an odd fellow. For the OP, my prefered outlets are reading, playing computer games, going for a run, and comming on SR to read or hit the chat room. |
A list of one hundred fifty My, won't that be nifty! |
There are no meetings in my city and this is where SR helps me enormously. Early in my sobriety I went to great efforts to get to meetings in other city even border crossings. Are you still having strong cravings to drink or are you looking for more one on one support? CaiHong |
