Communication was a big issue, I resented my now AXH, I resented that he was not there for me, emotionally, spiritually, maybe physically but not in any other way.
I resented that he never appreciated the things I did, like work to help out with the bills, the cooking everyday, the house clean, taking care of the kids, supporting him on his recovery, listening to what he learned at the meetings, going with him to meet his "new friends", and I can go on and on and on.
Little appreciation and recognition can go long ways in a relationship!!
My AXH wouldn't buy me a card or present or take me out to dinner on mother's day because he said I was NOT HIS mother....yes, he is a selfish ...Bas...
